Our Lady or Perpetual Succor

OLPS Parish Social Club is well situated to serve the parish community of Ditton & Hough Green in Widnes, Cheshire. Once affectionately known as Father Kelly’s after the Priest who was in place at the time the club first opened in the 1960’s and is still known by this name by some of the local residents. Very much a family club serving the local community but also has wider appeal to a much greater area. Renowned for provide good quality entertainment in the main concert room and also shows most TV sport in the members lounge. The concert room can also be hired for private functions. Whilst the club does operate under a membership scheme, everyone is made welcome by the centre manager, Sheila and her staff and if guests decide to join, there is no simpler process! The Parish centre now offers coffee and wi fi is also available – free of charge.

The club benefits from a function Room good sized car park, has disabled access & toilet facilities.

The function room at Our Lady’s is very comfortable, it is suitably sized to cater for up to 150 people. The room is used by different user groups throughout the week (these are open for all to join in) and the facility is also available to hire at very competitive rates, on Friday nights and most days throughout the week. Catering can be provided or arranged.

We can cater for all events: Weddings and birthday parties are always popular, whilst we will be happy to host your Anniversary celebrations, Funeral arrangements as well as corporate events. (Unfortunately we cannot cater for 18th Birthday Parties).

Functions and Events

Alongside our ability to accommodate a variety of functions, we also provide other key diary events, including the occasional STAR nights. We also have a sing-a-long twice a week.

Christmas & New Year showcases are generally very popular and tickets quite often sell out for these events so please book early to avoid disappointment as top class entertainment is always guaranteed.

Not only do we regularly get booked up for Anniversaries, Birthdays etc but we are also famous for catering for other events such as Charity Fund Raisers, Corporate meetings, Graduation Parties, Race Nights, Retirements and homecomings!

Our Lady’s can cater for your needs and we also currently offer a fuller, more comprehensive catering service through our highly recommended local quality catering partners. We can make the necessary arrangements to cater for your function, whatever the size of the party.
From a small get-together to an all day wedding party.

We also have some all inclusive party packages offering, food, music, invitations, room decoration for a set price. Please ask Sheila for details.

Entertainment

Entertainment is provided by approved entertainment agencies who we work closely with.The club provides live entertainment on a Saturday evening and on specific occasions throughout the year. These are for both members and non members. Due to the nature of these events they sometimes carry a small entry fee.

Quizzes, Bingo, sports are also on regularly throughout the week.
