St Margaret Mary's Parish Centre was opened in1969 to serve and support the local communities of Huyton, Swanside, Knotty Ash, Dovecot and the surrounding areas.
Refurbished in 2003 and opened by [the late & great] Ken Dodd, the club is a very successful facility not only serving the local area but continues to be well supported by those who travel from further afield to meet relatives, friends and hold private parties & functions. St Margaret Marys is managed by Mrs Karen Edwards who prides herself on the quality of service and value for money that she and her team of excellent committed staff consistently provide. Whilst St Margaret Mary's is run under a membership system, new members are always welcome and joining is easy.

St Margaret Marys has a large members' lounge with a "Big Screen" and Plasma TV for all sporting events plus a separate games area consisting of two high-quality snooker tables. The club has a snooker team that take part in the weekly league and cup games. New players are always welcome and encouraged to sign up.

We also have a large function/cabaret room that can hold up to 200 people. This is available to hire every Friday & Saturday Night and on Sunday afternoons. We also have the luxury of two additional small meeting/function rooms for those smaller more intimate events.
Every Sunday evening we welcome top quality entertainers from all over the UK to our venue. They perform to a dedicated audience and are accompanied by our local resident DJ.

Weekend afternoons brings football and horse racing to the big screen with Sky Sports and Racing UK available for our customers to enjoy.

Corporate hire can also be arranged in either room throughout the week, along with a light buffet & refreshments for your guests.

Not only can we cater for the large functions up to 200, but we also have the two smaller meeting rooms. Alongside our ability to accommodate a variety of functions, we also provide other key diary events such as Valentines, Mothers Day, Royal Occasions, Sporting events, Star Nights and other live entertainment events.

Christmas & New Year showcases are also very popular but tickets quite often sell out for these events so please book early to avoid disappointment as top class entertainment is always guaranteed.

St Margaret Mary's currently offers a full catering service through our highly recommended local quality catering partners. We have been working with our caterers for over 15 years and with them, we can make the necessary arrangements to cater for your function, whatever the size of the party.

From a small get-together to a large all day wedding party.

Entertainment

Entertainment is mainly provided by one of the North-wests top agents - R&B Entertainment, complimented by our own resident DJ and Karaoke artist.

The club hosts live entertainment for our members on Sunday evenings in the main function room and Karaoke every other Saturday in the member's lounge. We also have "star" entertainment nights on key dates throughout the year in the main function room - these occasionally carry a small entry fee which is highly subsidised for members.
